The SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) program is an advanced course, a three-day workshop wherein participants would gain a comprehensive idea of the roles and accountabilities of a RTE in a SAFe enterprise. They would learn the facilitation and enablement of end-2-end delivery via the Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and value streams through experiential learning, build high-performing ART by being a coach and a servant leader, execute and plan a Program Increment (PI) through all the stratas of a SAFe® organization.

Course details

The topics covered in this course include specific points like exploration of the RTE roles and responsibilities, application of the SAFe® Principles, understanding ART, planning and executing of a Program Increment, ensuring Relentless Improvement, serving ART, continuing the journey of learning etc.

Prerequisites

To gain from this session, participants are required to have a minimum of one current SAFe® Certification, participated or launched one ART and one PI.

Target audience

Professionals like Program and project managers, RTEs and Value Stream Engineers (VSEs), Scrum Masters, Agile coaches, leaders and managers and SAFe® Program Consultants (SPCs) would benefit from this course.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, participants would be receiving a SAFe® RTE certificate and membership to the Scaled Agile RTE Community of Practice for 1 year.

Prospects

Participants can apply for 21 Professional Development Units (PDUs) for continuing their education with PMI for PMP® and PMI-ACP® certifications. They would also qualify for applying for the SEUs under category C, renewing or earning their CSP.
