Scaled Agile Framework's SAFe® for Teams Training with SAFe® Practitioner (SP) Certification

This course enables members of Agile Release Trains to work in a SAFe environment. They would learn how to use Kanban, Scrum and XP. Participants would be put in Agile teams and taught to write interesting stories and break features along with the planning and execution of various iterations. Participants would be taught about Agile Release Train, how they can have an impact on it, plan various program increments, integrate and coordinate with other teams and improve as a train.
Course details
The topics that are covered in this course include Introduction to Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®), how to be an Agile Team, build a backlog, how to plan a Program Increment and execute iterations.
At the end of the course, participants would learn to work as a member of Agile teams on Agile Release Trains, ideate and execute iterations, improve various team and train processes, plot program increments and also work with the other that are there.
Target audience
Participants of this course are prepared for the exam to become a certified SAFe® Practitioner (SP).
The course would be beneficial for those who have applied for Lean and Agile at Scale and members of Agile Release Train.
Certification
Participants who pass the exam would receive a certificate as a SAFe practitioner and get a one year certified membership to be a SAFe practitioner. Workbooks would be provided to all and they would also gain access to the SAFe® 4 Practitioner Exam but for this one needs to attend the course.
Prospects
Participants are eligible for 15 Continuing Education – Strategic PDUs for continuing their education. They can apply for PMP and PMI-ACP certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI). They are eligible for applying for SEUs under category C, and renewing or earning their CSP through Scrum Alliance.
